I started the New Year in New Hazelton B.C.. My first birds of the year
were a flock of Black-capped chickadees and a barred Owl. With Ray
Sturney I then drove to Terrace B.C. to see the Hooded Oriole which is a
life bird for both of us. The bird seems to be in good shape and is
spending most of its time in a very dense cedar bush when not at the
feeder.
