It was a great initial CBC with the following statistics

Black-billed Magpie 35
Canyon Wren 5
Lesser Goldfinch 6 (all in Washington)

The count circle center is about 3 miles east of the Klickitat River, along
the north shore of the Columbia River, at Doug's Beach. The circle includes
range limits for the following:

Acorn Woodpecker, Lesser Goldfinch (northern limit of range)
Black-billed Magpie, Canyon Wren, Gray Partridge (western limit of range)
Red-breasted Sapsucker (eastern limit of range)

Included in the circle is The Dallas, Rowena Plateau, the east side of
Mosier, OR, Rowland Lake, Stacker Butte, The Dalles Dam, and the communities
of Lyle and Dalllesport

Next year's count will be Sunday, December 27th.
