As Ross's Goose doesn't migrate from the Arctic until well into October, the
question of origin might arise in this instance. Its apparent tameness means
nothing: if there's a human-habituated bunch of ducks and geese already
there, migrant waterfowl can be wild and wary when arriving in the morning,
taught by example to feed from the hand by evening.
