Sorry to hit the list with another non-bird subject, but I have a small
request.

Could people try to make sure that their computers have the correct time? I
sort my mail folder by Sent Time, which is usually recorded in email by the
sender's computer. Doing this gets the messages in almost the correct
order, except that some Tweets have the wrong time (some significantly) on
their machines.

In Windows, you can set the time in the Control Panel with the "Date & Time"
applet. I'm sure it's even easier on a Mac. Also, you can get a time
synchronization program which will ssync your time over the net to an atomic
clock. Check out http://idirect.tucows.com/index.html - choose the correct
OS (Win95, Win31, or Mac), and look through the list of "Time Syncronizers".

BTW, we saw a beautiful male Anna's Hummingbird and three or four Townsend's
Warblers at the Arboretum Winter Garden on December 30. They were both in
the flowering Tall Oregon Grape.
