Hi tweets,

Ruth Sullivan brought me in a fine collection of photos of two gulls
reported as Slaty-backed this winter in WA, and asked me to run a few of
them through the scanner for your edification. I also wrote some comments

For those of you without web access, I should add that if you want to add
the glamourous and elusive Slaty-back to your list, I'd go to Tacoma rather
than Everett.
