Hello tweeters,

Just a quick note re our trip today to the Skagit and Samish Flats... I
think all five falcons were seen by a quorum of visitors, but not by us.
Our count was three quite handsome peregrines: in the tree over
Farm-to-Market Road, an immature female and an adult male, and on Sunset
Road, another almost adult peregrine, gender not noted. Also saw 44 bald
eagles, 27 red-tailed hawks, 8 rough-legged hawks, 20 northern harriers,
incuding 4 males, and 2 American kestrels. In Edison, the gate going to
the dike was open and not signed so we drove the full length of the dike
(to the bridge ) and saw up-close bald eagles and many thousands of
pintails, mallards, and other waterfowl.

At the west 90 we also observed a handsome, adult, coyote meandering across
the field and "dancing around." ??

Weather was gorgeous!
