Hi Bob,
It was fun. Again, thanks for your good planning AND
follow-through. We enjoyed camping out in your pumphouse with you. It is
not very convenient for you, I can see, but it was fun for us!
At the phoebe spot we walked up and up the road, having a lovely
time. What a gorgeous day! The phoebe and other birds--I remember it was
one of the chickenlike birds but can't quite recall which type--did not show
themselves for us....I took a delightful little rest propped against an oak
tree near that upper gate. It was just long enough for me to pick up a
little tick, which Alan adroitly spied and squashed as it walked across my
neck a bit later (while we were in the Lyle Merc).
Keep in mind that we would certainly help at your new house on any
project which unskilled inexperienced types such as ourselves would be
capable of. (I fear there are few such, and we know that you are already
taxed to come up with appropriate projects for your dad to do....) But we
want you to know that we ARE willing, very willing....
We hope that you are well and that life with you and Rion and
Rebecca continues challenging but rewarding!
