Hello tweeters,

Finally, a varied thrush has showed its face under the back hedge. Like
Ruth Sullivan, I usually have between 20-30 during the winter, but not this
year, so it's nice to finally see one. I also have a flock of band-tailed
pigeons plus great horned, barred, and screech owl (they come and go all
year, sound and sightwise).

Our snow hasn't arrived, but looks like it's not far off.
