Hi Robert and Elaine,
I was tempted to go today, after searching all DAY YESTERDAY with no Gull
sighted. but i got stuck watching all my Birds in our yard.The Varied-
Thrush came on my Patio eating unsalted Peanuts from a bowl.We never knew
how many Birds we realy had. to the Snow came. SUET attract the most Birds
I I will go again to morrow to look for the Slaty-backed Gull.The reason
this Bird likes flat Roofs. maybe there put out some heat.I don't think i
ever will have the opportunity to get Photos as on friday in flight.I will
sent this Photos to ABA and to AMERICAN Field-Notes.I this got my Fall
Issue 1997, on the front Cover a Great Black- backed Gull, great Photo. The
paper there using is different, so i think this Issue beeing done by ABA.
Verry attractive Cover.
