Michael,

You're rendition sounds closer to the way I hear it than the master guides.
However, I've compared the sonographs of the Hutton's I recorded at Wenas
Creek with one I recorded in Seattle, and they are essentially identical
except that the east side note is "upside down." In other words, each
"tzur-rreep" is like a "V" on the graph, west side, but shaped "^" on the
east side. I don't know what to make of that.
