While this site makes reference to the Vancouver Natural History Society it
is not run by a member of the Society and information on the VNHS may not be
current. I notice that there is a rare bird report form which posts a
message to the owner of the site. This is not, to my knowledge, a recognized
way of reporting sightings and, if used, I'm not sure where the information
goes.

Hopefully, the VNHS will have a Web presence fairly soon. When this happens
I hope we can add information on birding sites around the Lower Mainland to
it and include maps to help locate some of the rarer sightings.
