Hello Tweets,

My mother and I birded locally in the Tacoma area despite the recent
snowfall in our area, where we relocated the female RED-CRESTED POCHARD
near our residence in Fircrest on a drainage pond. We travelled next to the
Day Island lagoon, where we observed 6 Dunlin, a species that has been
quite hard to find in the Tacoma area, unlike other areas. Finally, we
noted one male OLDSQUAW off Day Island in a flock of Surf Scoters.
