regularly to a feeder throughout the day, often spending between 10 and 15
minutes at the feeder.

Sightings for Saturday, January 10
A YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was reported from 1773 El Verano on Gabriola
Island. The bird was first seen about a week ago. To reach this location,
take the ferry from Nanaimo then follow South road for several km before
turning onto El Verano. No 1773 is a Copy Shop.

Hahahahaha!!!! Turns out that the 11th was when a huge contingent of birders
converged on the spot and it never showed. Naturally, the next day, it was there
all day. The owners of said favored spot have forwarded apparent killer photos
of this bird to authorities which leave no doubt as to its ID. It boggles the
mind...
