Re: the old Yellow-billed Loon thread.
I remember that YBLO in different plumages were discussed some months
ago. As I got to see one last Saturday (best viewing conditions; a huge
beast!) I checked in my European bird book (Lars Jonsson) for its range.
I found that the book depicts the White-billed Diver (colour seems to be
variable)in various plumages; maybe that could be helpful.
