I am absolutely not astonished by your dream - I was thinking about
starting a list of dream birds myself... (there was, long time ago, a
discussion about lists of various kinds on tweeters). My last 2 additions
would be Snowy Owl and Red-throated Loon - who knows why exactly a RTLO,
but I remember actually checking for the red neck patch, and there it was!
