A report from a friend who was near Stanwood on Sunday:
Yesterday at the north boundary of Stuart Lervick Dairy Farm outside of
Stanwood, I saw my first snowy owl of the season. Also active during
the late afternoon were three short-eared owls. Seven eagles, one
peregrine, four northern harriers, one kestrel, in additional to
mallards, coots, pintails, green-wing teal, were seen from my blind.
