I've been off the list lately (never signed back on after my vacation),
and a friend sent me a recent banded crow sighting by Martin Muller.
That particular crow was a bird banded by Dr. John Marzluff in the
Wildlife Dept. at the UW. His group has been banding campus crows the
last few months.

I am part of another group banding a population of crows at Meadowdale
Park in Snohomish County. Our birds typically have red or yellow over
their alum. FWS band on the right leg and some other color combination on
the left leg. Our project focuses on the social and kinship relationships
surrounding these beach-foraging crows. We would greatly appreciate
any sightings of these birds, and any information on where they roost in
this area!

I have passed Martin's sighting on to Dr. Marzluff
(corvid at u.washington.edu) as well.
