Sightings for Wednesday, January 14

The YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was seen at 1773 El Verano on Gabriola Island
for the third consecutive day. The bird is visiting other feeders in the
area, including one at 1770 El Verano. The bird comes to the feeder on a
regular basis.

The immature HARRIS' SPARROW was at the stone bridge in Stanley Park and a
REDHEAD was with CANVASBACKS on Lost Lagoon. In late reports, the WESTERN
TANAGER was seen in North Burnaby yesterday and a possible LOGGERHEAD
SHRIKE was seen at Foreshore Park in Burnaby on Sunday afternoon

Sightings for Tuesday, January 13

The YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was seen at 1773 El Verano on Gabriola Island.
The bird is visiting other feeders in the area, including one at 1770 El
Verano. The XANTHUS' HUMMINGBIRD was seen in Gibsons at 221 2nd Street.

The COMMON EIDER was relocated today in a large flock of scoters at English
Bay.

Sightings for Monday, January 12

The YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at 1773 El Verano on Gabriola Island was coming
regularly to a feeder throughout the day, often spending between 10 and 15
minutes at the feeder.

A GREAT KNOT was seen at Iona this afternoon. The bird flew in from the
north jetty and was seen in the grass near the outflow pond. The RUSTY
BLACKBIRD was seen on MacDonald Rd today, near the junction with Ferguson
Rd. An Immature NORTHERN SHRIKE was on Ferguson Rd, near the causeway. The
WESTERN TANAGER was seen in N Burnaby for the 26th consecutive day. Call
298-5490 for details. A Virginia Rail was seen at Maplewood Flats
yesterday and today

In a late report for Sunday, a Red Knot was at Crescent Beach.
