Hi there:

Birders working in downtown Everett have had the pleasure of regular
visits by two peregrine falcons, and adult and subadult. One in
particular an adult falcon, I think, or large tiercel, perches on the
church steeple across from the Wall Street Building. The bird also
perches on the County Courthouse building. We see it on the steeple
every day and find pigeon carcasses in the parking lot and elsewhere.
The adult makes regular forays around the Wall Street Building, which is
one of those tinted glass buildings. It flies around cacking loudly
presumably at its reflection in the glass. There have been times when I
have heard the bird calling as it flew past above my window where I
couldn't see it. Unfortunately I can't see the steeple from my window,
but then I would get absolutely no work done.

My first job as a wildlife biologist was hacking peregrines, and what a
job it is now to be able to watch this bird every day.
