It's amazing to me how many adults watch Bill Nye. More amazing how often
they broadcast that "we have seasons because....the earth is tilted" show.
A couple of years ago, when KCTS9's show Bill Nye the science guy was bought
up by a cable channel the producers had to scramble to lengthen each show by
a few minutes.
Apparently the producer saw one of the local news snippets about this guy
walking around Green Lake (Seattle) watching birds all the time.
I had a great morning with a camera man, a sound man and the producer, doing
bird stuff. I'm still impressed with the camera man for getting that shot of
the Golden-crowned Kinglet.
