Hello Tweets,

My mother and I birded mainly in Jefferson Co. today, starting out at the
Salsbury Pt. boat launch in Kitsap Co., where we observed 1 Peregrine
Falcon and 2 Oldsquaw offshore. We travelled west to Oak Bay County Park
and noted 120 Brant, all 3 scoters, and 4 Marbled Murrelets. Continuing on
Marrowstone Island, we checked Mystery Bay S.P., where 5 Eared Grebes, 7
Oldsquaw, and 2 Gr. Yellowlegs were noted. We then birded Marrowstone Pt.,
where up to 12 Ancient Murrelets and 4 Marbled Murrelets were seen flying
offshore and at Ft. Flagler S.P. a large flock of Dunlin with 13 B.B.
Plovers, 14 B. Turnstones, 23 Sanderlings, and 6 W. Sandpipers mixed in
were noted. Our final stop was made at the Pt. Townsend Marina where my
mother photographed a Marbled Murrelet within 5 ft.
