Tweets,
Despite the weather in the flats this afternoon, birding was pretty
productive. On Bayview Edison at 2:00 the Praire Falcon gave wonderful
views as well as some photo ops. Past the west 90 on Samish Is. Rd. There
was a small but diverse flock of shorebirds with 19 Black-bellied Plover,
12 Dunlin, 1 Western Sandpiper. At 3:45 this afternoon back on Bayview-Edison
we had a Dark-morph Gryfalcon. Was expectin to see the gray morph and was
puzzled for a moment as to its identity, only confirming it shortly before
it flew of to the South and sat in the top of a tree at the base of the
hill on Bayview-Edison. I looked with no success for the GT Towhee this
morning,
but the weather was very poor.
