Hi Tweets

Took a group up to the Skagit/Samish today. The rain held off long
enough to see most of what we hoped for. A field of Trumpeter & Tundra
Swans just east of I-5 at the Conway exit. Had a large field of Snow
Geese, approximately 15,000, just south of Rawlins Road. They were
extremely tolerant today, we were standing on the east side of the road
and the geese were up to the edge of the field along the west side of
the road. Lots of "Goose Music". Great experience for the kids along.
Stopped to look at a large flock (approx. 10-15,000) of Dunlin along the
north side of Sunset Road just east of Farm-Market Road, when the whole
Dunlin flock lifted. A Prairie Falcon was making a pass over the flock -
some excitement. All in all a good day.
