I am planning a spring trip to Washington and am looking for local
birding information. Some of the things I would like to know are-were are
the May/June hot
spots; which parks/locations are the best at this time of year; where do
I get bird
checklists for the parks off the Internet; is mid-May better than mid
June; are there any guided walks or spring bird counts at this time (I
am looking for the opportunity to be with the local experts)? My current
thinking is to do 2 weeks in the area, either before or after a 2 week
cruise-tour to Alaska.
