Greetings tweeters,
We decided to make a quick trip to Seattle. We left Grand Coulee at
4:00am to catch the 6:30am plane in Spokane. There was 2-4" of wet snow
and the roads had not been plowed. It took and extra hour to get to the
airport and 8 gallons of gas in a Toyota PU. (85 miles)We caught the 8
o'clock plane and arrived in Seattle at 9.

Thanks to the hospitality of Bob and Elaine Taylor we had a great time.

Tweeters information made it possible for us to see the Slaty-backed and
Little Gull, and the Greater White-fronted Goose. We also added twenty
other birds to our life list including the Band-tailed Pigeon. WOW! All
this in two days.

Today we added one more here at home. In a wild olive tree grove we saw
five American Tree Sparrows.

So, thanks Tweets for all the good directions and frequent posts.
