I don't necessarily need directions to a bird, but I think it is very
important to give more location information than some RBA's typically give.
I called an RBA in southern CA, and it gave locations than only a local
birder would know. Nothing you could find on a map, nor anything a
non-birding resident would know.

On Tweeters, sometimes, people will post that they saw a bird in
such-and-such park. This is insufficient. Give a town name too -- that
way, I can look on a map and find the park near the town. Otherwise, I have
a whole DeLorme or two to search through. Even a county name helps
enormously.
