I would like to second Ken Klimko's comments regarding Michael Price's help
and support for new birders while he was operator of the Vancouver Bird
Alert. Michael did the bird alert when I first became interested in birding
and through all my new-found enthusiasm and neophyte's questions I found
that he was always very generous with his own time and expertise, and he
treated me with respect and patience. He gave a lot and I would like to
give him a public thank-you here.
