I just completed another monthly survey of the birds at Idylwood Park. Our E.
Lake Wa. AS had been asked by city of Redmond to census the park. We just
started in Oct. It is a small park on Lake Sammamish located at W. L.
Sammamish Way and NE 38th St. It only takes a little over an hour to do a
survey. This morning we had the highest total yet, 22 species and 10 were
first sightings since we started in Oct. The new species were:

1 Horned Grebe
1 Bufflehead
1 Northern Flicker
1 Red-tailed Hawk
6 Golden-crowned Kinglet
3 Song Sparrow (hard to believe this is first time we saw them)
1 Townsend's Warbler
1 California Quail
2 Brown Creeper
2 Canvasback
