Jerry,
The time/date is a problem with my computer so there is nothing wrong with
your e-mail. The shorebirds are most likely on an incoming tide (about
halfway high) they tend to move onto Tongue Point to feed. They would
probably remain on a low high tide where the point is not covered, and also
they would move there on the outgoing tide as the rocks are uncovered. The
oystercatchers are very noisy so you can hear them coming in. I am sure
that they can be found on other rocky areas from there to Neah Bay.
Good luck and good birding!
I have had a problem with my e-mail and responding to your request. Sorry
that it took me so long to get back.
