As late as Dec.24, 1997 there was a "Tule" Greater White-fronted Goose
at Steigerwald Lake N.W.R., Clark County, WA. This bird was in a flock of
16 White-fronteds that had been there since September, the bird was
easily identifiable by its Blue Neck Collar ( makes it easy when they
label them for you). The bird was banded in the Kahiltna Valley of
Alaska.
