Hi Peoplez..
Just a quick note...Today, took a break from skiing up at Steven's Pass,
and spent lil over an hour birding. The highlight was a flock of 9
White-Winged Crossbills, 3 male, 6 female/immature(Didnt pay notice). I
found these birds just about 20 yards N. of the Moutainers Private Lodge.
I can tell you that the lodge is closest to the Brooks Chair. I aproached
this from the parkinglot farthest up the side of the mountain. If you
needz more info, i guess you could give me an e-mail or call, but i
assume there moven around....So next time you hit the slopes take a few
minutez and scout around....ya never knowz...
Also in the area:
Common Raven
Gray Jay
Stellar's Jay
Pine Siskin
Chestnut-backed Chickadee
Mountain Chickadee

Till next time...
