Hi Toby,
Thank you so much for posting the sighting of the Rusty Blackbird. We stood
there for about three hours and could not find it.Patrick kept saying this
Bird should be all alone. This is where we had Rusty Backbirds before
12-26-91 at Skagit WRA.All alone, easy to find, and as Eugene saw this Bird
20 feet of the ground, but this would be to easy, and not such luck for
us.You know how bad the lighting was, going to all the Blackbirds in the
end.We was desperate in the end , this is wy we took the scope to make sure
we din't miss the bird.Ken Knittel works up close by,where he been seeing
Rusty Blackbirds every Year. We are going back when we get back on
Wednesday from Neah Bay. Patrick said to tell you, sorry din't say goodby.
Ruth
