I hesitate a bit on this one. Perhaps a waterfowl fancier's
birds got away. Perhaps there is something else amiss with
this story.... But, a waterfowl hunter killed what he says are
two Ringed Teal out of a group of three, somewhere near Sedro
Woolley. The two dead ducks are reportedly at the taxidermist.

At least two biologists have talked to the man and neither of them
is dismissing the story. The ducks were not banded.
