Thanks to all who supplied me with information on birding in SE Arizona.
What a trip! And what a nice change to be hiking in shorts and a T-shirt
in Jan. We saw over 60 species, 26 of them new ones for me. I'll spare you
all the list, but highlights included a painted redstart, Arizona
woodpecker, ladder-back WP, Abert's towhee (a ton of green-tailed towhees,
too) palm warblers, Harris hawk, both Say's and black phoebes, broad
billed hummers. Thanks again..couldn't have done it without you.
