Tweeters,

Chris Chappell asked for sightings of gray jays wintering in Washington
lowlands. We're across the Columbia from the Willapa Hills so this may not
be of interest, but we presently have a gray jay at my father's tree farm at
elevation 900 feet on Lost Creek Road near Clatskanie, Oregon. I saw it
January 12 attacking its reflection on the windows of Dad's house. This
could be the same individual that frequently exhibited the same behavior
last spring and summer.
