The thought occurred: are we seeing more albinos this winter than usual, or
is this just an artefact of reporting? I've got a hunch it may be the former
(how's that for hedging?). If so, to jimcrack the edifice higher here, what
might be the natural and/or artificial causes? More albinos when the sun is
in sunspot/flare mode? Or inactive? Or the moon in Capricorn? '-) Project
HAARP? Radioactive leakages and environmental toxins from Russia or places
like Hanford? Geomagnetic field line changes? Ozone layer depletion?
Pulpmill emissions? Microwave radiation? Is there a relationship between--if
proven--higher levels of albinism/leucism or other genetic mishap, and vagrancy?

BTW, love Dennis's term 'vagrate' as the verb intransitive of vagrancy: it's
got my vote for usage!
