Hi Tweets

A little trivia.

According to Madge and Burn in "Waterfowl" Ringed Teal is one of the
'Aberrant Ducks'.

Ringed Teal Callonetta leucophrys South America
Marbled Duck Marmaronetta angustirostris Africa (dispersed)
Salvadori's Duck Salvadorina waigiuensis New Guinea
Pink-eared Duck Malacorhynchus membranaceus Australia

All four of these are in monotypic genera and all four occupy separate
geographic regions.

Don't mean to imply any relationship between these birds --- just the
fact they are all interesting birds (i.e., Aberrant Ducks).
