Hello Bob,
Patrick and I, can't understand why we never hear any report's from this
area around Neah Bay? It looks as the Crested Caracara put this smal town
on the Map for Birders to go.you said better looks of this Bird {Caracara}
how good can it get. seeing this Bird taken Prey away from the Gull on the
Piling.We watched this Bird to dark, flying all over Town, and places,
where no Birders reported this.When we came to Neah Bay we had 40 Black
Oystercatcher and One Surfbird, and15 black Turnstone, going Home, we
stopped again, we only had 20 Oystercatcher.On all the Birds i took Photos
of, lot's of the Caracara,lot's of the first year GLAUCOUS GULL. We found
this Bird on the Beach next to the Senior Center, the same day you was
there, also again the next morning.We certainly had a good Trip.It worth
the Trip going back once more. You talk Gulls on Ediz Hook, you don't find
a better Place to find MORE Gulls than you ever find any other Place,this
take you Time.Comming back to the Black Oystercatcher, this is the most
amount in Numbers i found in the State of Washington.
