I really appreciate the time you are taking to post these daily trip
reports. I enjoy them immensely and find that it makes me feel like I'm
on a birding trip myself instead of stuck here in Seattle.

As I was driving my bus across I-90 this morning the realization popped
into my head that you had not posted for a few days and I became worried
that you might have gotten stuck in some snow drift some place in the
hinterlands of eastern Washington and needed rescuing. Perhaps it was
the red-tailed hawk I saw in the tree overlooking the Rainier Valley that
made me think of your trip.

Keep the reports coming. I, for one, am pleased that you have given up
on your New Year's resolution! :)
