Hello Tweetsters -- I'm still alive :-))

Just an *advance warning message* here. Save yourself some time and delete
the next three 'long' messages from PAGODROMA if the daily eastern Washington
trip reports aren't to your interest. Situations in the field prevented for
one reason or another from posting daily.
Day 6 -- wrote it but forgot to post it before I dashed out the door.
Why bother?!
Day 7 -- wrote it but while camping. Why bother?!
Day 8 -- wrote it only BEFORE I discovered that the motel had no
telephone/internet hookup ability. Really!! Why bother?!

Day 9 (Waterville Plateau) will come later after I've recovered a bit and come
back to my senses. Nothing really earth shattering over and up there
yesterday anyway. At least the trip home last night over Blewett (rt.97) and
Snoqualme (I-90) was clear and DRY all the way for a change. Also nice to
find it rather t-shirt spring like around here right now. I don't feel like
re-reading what I've written in the next three messages but just want to get
them posted before the info. becomes too dated. Hopefully you (and me too
later) will find them relatively typo and error-free. At least I've double
checked the DATES this time. And if you get this in digest form, my apologies
for the resulting downloading delays. I PROMISE not to post a series of long
messages like this ever again. --Richard
