Hi Folks

Dennis, glad so many responded Brazil's request for dragonfly information.
That's one of the true strengths of networking with Tweeters.

Now that I 'have polished Tweeter's apple', so to speak, does anybody have
recent birding info for Okinawa?? That is our planned trip in early March
with targets of Saunder's Gull, Okinawa Rail, Pryer's Woodpecker and any of
the owls we can find. This will be Elaine's first foreign country birding
experience and all information is appreciated. No habu stories, please!

Also, don't know how many of you are aware that Mark Brazil (I had heard
that he was in New Zealand) requesting dragonfly info is probably the
author of "The Birds of Japan" and "A Birdwatcher's Guide to Japan" both
excellent material for any birding effort in Japan. Neither book is a
field guide, however, but The Wild Bird Society of Japan has a handy one
called "A Field Guide to the Birds of Japan".
