I am planning a vacation in Chelan next week and would llike to know if
anyone know of some good areas around there to go birding. I will spend
a lot of time on Chelan Butte, but would like to know some other areas.
Also, does anyone have some 'special' birds I should watch for? Last
year we saw some Orioles nesting by the river and several nests on the
Butte--Nuthatches, Flickers, and Blue Birds, but I never knew some other
good areas to go. I appreciate whatever wisdom you can share. I am
trying to become a better birder, but the experiences sometimes seem to
come slowly!
