Notes: An out of place hatching-year AMERICAN DIPPER was gleaning
Pallus Sea Roachs (_Ligia pallusii_) from the rocks of the jetty
just at the surf line. Good numbers of PACIFIC LOONS
are still present on the ocean. COMMON MURRES are moving north in
large numbers, but there were also many murres in the river actively
feeding. HEERMANN'S GULLS are moving north now with a steady stream
of mostly adult birds moving past the jetty. Calm, flat ocean
conditions made for good alcid watching and all expected species were
seen in good numbers
