Wind W 1-5; Temp 55F

Method: 60 min (timed) station count from observation deck at Ecola
Point using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting rocks, sitting
on ocean.

NOTES: There were many more COMMON MURRES at Ecola than I expected.
Murre activity seemed to be split between birds at or near the rocks
and north bound flybys about 1 mile out. There were many BRANDT'S
CORMORANTS and PELAGIC CORMORANTS sitting on nests. The PEREGRINE
was a very dark juvenile and quite possibly a young of the year.
