I just got back from a flyfishing trip to Gypsy Lake to fish for northern
pike. It was very good fishing in warm to hot weather. It is located about
100 miles east of Fort McMurray next to the Saskatchewan border. I recorded
34 species seen or heard either from the boat or on early morning walks on
nearby trails.

I also heard a number of birds I couldn't recognize. Some that I heard fairly
often I tried to give a phonetic sound to, hoping that someone might have an
idea as to what the bird was.
