In the brush with fame department, that episode almost used an dead
chickadee that was roadkilled down here on the Columbia Estuary. The
plan was to somehow wired it to a tree.

Those of us called in to consult felt it was a pretty lame idea and
strongly recommended the solution that was finally shown on TV, but
one of Astoria High School's BCCH made a road trip to "Sicily" and
back.
