Hi Ruth and Tweets,

Here's five methods of message retrieval :

1) Jack Siler runs a Perl program that automatically gathers the most
recent 3 or 4 days of Tweeters individual postings and Webs them at:
http://www-stat.wharton.upenn.edu/~siler/TWET.html

2) I archive about a month of Tweeter's digest messages on the Web at:
http://weber.u.washington.edu/~dvictor/digest.html

3) If you don't have access to the Web and the message is within the past
month, I also keep about a month's worth of individual Tweeter's postings
in an email folder. From this I can readily forward message(s) to anyone
requesting them privately.

4) Also via the Web or via Gopher you can obtain archived weekly logs of
messages at this address :
gopher://lists.u.washington.edu:70/11/public/tweeters

5) You can also obtain one (or more) of the weekly archived logs of
Tweeter's postings directly from the listprocessor :
a) Send the listprocessor (listproc at u.washington.edu) the command:
index tweeters
b) From the listproc's response choose the log(s) and send
the listprocessor (listproc at u.washington.edu) the command: [for example]
get tweeters tweeters.log9807a
get tweeters tweeters.log9807b

Hope these suggestions help,
