Hello everyone!

Can anyone give me some tips on differentiating between purple and
house finches? I've seen one or the other (who knows? Maybe both?),
but because I can't really tell them apart in my ID books, I'm stumped
as to which it is. They both seem to be so similar. I'm sure it's
probably easy, and once I see it, I'll be slapping my forehead going,
"Doh!" :-)
