Hi Everyone!
I'm 15 years old, and an avid birder. I live in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.
My Grandfather and Uncle are traveling to the Northwest this month, and
have invited me to go with them. They are both beginning birders, but
are willing to take me to birding spots. We will be visiting Glacier NP,
Banff NP, Mt. Ranier NP, and the Southeast Puget Sound Area. I have
several birding questions:
1. Are there any places where I can see owls in Glacier, Banff, or
Ranier? I am interested in seeing all owls except Great Horned & Barred.
2. Are there good spots for Black-backed Woodpecker or Spruce Grouse in
Glacier, Banff, or Ranier?
3. What are the good birding areas around SE Puget Sound?
I will really appreciate any help you can offer in making our trip a
success.
