My thanks to Martin, Gail, Michael, and all who commented and listed the
Humphrey-Parkes vs Traditional molt terminology. I'm pleased to have a
proper list and I'm sure many others are, too. I'm embarrassed to admit I
use a combination of the two, but now I have no reason not to be p.c.
(plumage correct). And my Pettingill does not have H-P; I took ornithology
ca 1970!
